Chetachi A. Egwu, Ph.D. is a native of Buffalo, NY and of Nigerian heritage. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Buffalo in 1996, and also holds a Masters and Ph.D. from Howard University.
Chetachi has been active in dance for many years. She was involved in the dance scene in Washington, DC as member of Carla and Company, Coyaba Dance Theater and Choreographers’ Collaboration Project, and has danced in other numerous projects. Most recently, Chetachi choreographed a full evening dance concert in Fort Lauderdale FL, and serves on the advisory board of Ballet Gamonet
In addition to her love of dance, Chetachi has an intense devotion to academia. She has served on the faculties of Howard University, Morgan State University, and The George Washington University. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Communication at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Apon Nichols
Apon Nichols is a Native of Miami, FL. For many years, he studied a variety of dance techniques under the direction of the Inner City Children Touring Dance Company. At the age of 16, he along with his best friend Zedric Bembry founded Live in Color. Apon studied at Miami-Dade College with a major in Entertainment Technology. His career pursuits include a three year apprenticeship program with the Florida Grand Opera as a stage hand, an internship at the prestigious Jacob's Pillow Festival, Miami City Ballet, The M-Ensemble numerous Broadway shows, symphonies, ballets, concerts and corporate events.
Through his various mentorship projects, Apon has developed technical theatre training workshops, clinics and symposia in lighting design and theater technology for local inner-city high school productions, local theatres and churches.
